Tara Reid laments wild girl rep

This is rich. Tara Reid is complaining that the media is giving her a bad image. Umm...Tara...they're only reporting what you're doing. If you don't like having that image in the press, then the best course of action isn't to attack the media. The best course is to stop doing it.

If you don't want to be known as a party girl, don't go out to clubs and get so hammered that you can't see straight. Don't show up to events and be so out of it that you don't have a clue when your dress falls half off your body. There's a long list of do's and don't's but they all boil down to showing some common sense about when and where to let your hair down.

Then she goes on to say that she needs a great movie role for people to change their opinion of her. Here's a clue: producers and directors are not going to risk their multi-million dollar investment on a party girl. In order to get that primo role you claim to want, you're going to have to chill on the lifestyle. In every life, we have choices to make, and there are consequences for every choice whether we like it or not.

You have every right to party as much as you want to, but by the same token, people have an equal right to draw whatever conclusion they want to about your behavior. Freedom is a double-edged sword and if you want to stop getting cut by it then exercise some judgment instead...
