Hopkins' hallucinations

30 years ago, Anthony Hopkins was not the silver screen icon he is today. He was an alcoholic with such a strong taste for tequila that he frequently hallucinated.

We would have missed out on one of the greatest villanous turns in movie history as Hannibal Lector had he continued down that road. It's a suprising revelation - as much for its content as its honesty.

Thank God he cleaned up his act - both figuratively and literally...
