Jennifer sees dead people

I confess that seeing the previews for Jennifer Love Hewitt's new show "Ghost Whisperer" left me unimpressed. It struck me as having a plot taken directly from The Sixth Sense combined with a title taken directly from The Horse Whisperer. It didn't exactly look like a promising project for Jennifer.

The show is getting decent reviews though surprisingly enough. Perhaps it'll find a devoted following as with shows like Touched by an Angel and it will have a nice long run. I might have to catch an episode to see how on- or off-target I find the reviews for myself...
