Daniel Craig is Named New James Bond

The name's Bond, Bond who?

You may not know the name, but if you're an Angelina Jolie fan, the odds are that you know his face. He played opposite Jolie in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider as the character Alex West. His other roles haven't been nearly as high profile - making him somewhat of a fresh face for the role, perhaps something for which the producers were looking.

The choice of Craig as Bond is going to make the next installments in the James Bond franchise somewhat iffy propositions because he lacks the box office draw of a marquee name like Pierce Brosnan. That being said, I'm sure he's not drawing the same salary that Brosnan commanded so the financial investment won't be as high either.

Now all Bond fans can do is hold their breath and hope producers made the right choice...
