Mariah Carey's new single "We Belong Together" has reached #1.

I, for one, am very happy for Mariah Carey. Since her break-up with Tommy Mattola, she has ridden a very bumpy career road. Whitney Houston hit a similar bumpy road and has yet to recover. Both women have incredible vocal talent and to lose both would have been a real tragedy.

So good for Mariah, and good for us....she's back at #1...

Chappelle enters mental facility

Dave Chappelle has been increasingly erratic - generally screwing up the production schedule for the third season of his show. I've been a big fan of his since he was doing emcee duties at the local comedy club in Baltimore, so I hope whatever he's suffering from can be quickly cured/corrected.

If you were surprised by Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck getting engaged then this is either another shocker or all the explanation you needed...

Either way, a baby on the way is a good thing. I just hope the new Benifer has a longer shelf life than the last one...

It's the first quasi-normal thing she's done in years. It's got to be a tremendous release to be able to indulge herself. Whatever the excuse, she should definitely take some downtime and enjoy it...

Personally I think the constant media pressure has had a negative effect on her, and it led to some fairly erratic behavior. If she uses the occasion of her pregnancy to relieve that pressure, more power to her...

There are hearts breaking everywhere today as CNN is reporting that Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney have gotten hitched...

Country music heart-throb Kenny Chesney, who is known almost as much for his shirtless physique as his music to his female fans, and the lovely Renee Zellweger are both officially off the market.

At least this is an equal opportunity marriage, both male and female fans are being disappointed....But congrats to the newlyweds and wish them the best of luck anyway, as with any show business marriage, they're gonna need all they can get...
