Reiner, Beatty lag in California poll

It just goes to show you that just because you're famous doesn't mean that you're popular. Warren Beatty is viewed, even by his fellow Democrats, in the net negative. In political terms, that's deadly. It's hard enough to get members of another party to vote for you, but if you can't even get your own people to go your direction then you might as well hang it up and go home.

Sorry Warren: no matter what political pretensions you might have had, the people are speaking and they're saying to stick with show business and keep your political opinions to yourself...
